Caserío del Mirador can cater for 14 adults comfortably,
with no more than 2 sharing a room. Some of the rooms can accommodate 3 or 4 people
so we can stretch to 17 or 18 guests but this would usually include a few children.

Knowledge and Maps
We can work with you before your arrival to understand
the type of walks you like. The very local maps are hand-drawn as most of the
routes are goat tracks or circuits along local roads that are too small to see
on any published maps. The most detailed maps are the Spanish military maps and
if you give us enough warning we can provide you with copies that cover the area.
The best guide book for walking in this area is the Bob Stansfield ‘Costa
Blanca Mountain Walks’ published by Cicerone, volume 2 covers the immediate
area around the house and for two of the routes you can walk directly from your
front door. Guided Walks

who live close by who are only too delighted to share their love of the area with
someone new. If you are hesitant about finding your own way around, our guided
walks can help you discover the wonders of this historic landscape. Packed
Lunches
If you just want to get going first thing and not worry about
where you are likely to have lunch, we can provide you with lunchtime sustenance
to keep you going. On a beautiful day when you have hiked to a secluded spot,
a picnic is the perfect way to rest and recuperate and enjoy the scenery. An insulated
back pack full of freshly baked pasties, bread with tomatoes, local ham and tortilla
usually hits the spot and travels well. Catering for

If you want to organise a group to come and stay, we can look
after you so that you can spend you time enjoying each other rather than a few
individuals getting lumbered with the usual daily chores. Evening dinners, breakfasts
